Qualifications

• One year as a Licensed Psychologist MH or Psychologist (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title).
• One year of experience as a licensed professional psychologist in treating inmates or individuals with mental illness, intellectual disabilities or behavioral dysfunction.

Responsibilities

• Staff Leadership: Supervise psychological staff and ensure consistent delivery of mental health services.
• Program Oversight: Manage programs, develop procedures, and support integration of new practices.
• Committee Direction: Lead major institutional committees on reception, crisis response, and mental health review.
• Clinical Standards: Establish staff competencies and ensure accuracy of diagnostic reports.
• Consultation Support: Advise staff on treatment matters and guide case management decisions.
• Accreditation Compliance: Maintain standards and provide expert testimony when needed.
