Qualifications

• Must hold an active Ohio medical license as a Psychiatrist.
• Current DEA registration.
• Must possess BLS/CPR Certification (AHA preferred).
• Board certification by ABPN.
• Experience with correctional healthcare is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with diverse populations.

Responsabilités

• Provide medication management, therapy, and evidence-based treatment plans for mental health needs.
• Oversee mental health screenings and evaluations performed by others.
• Respond to acute mental health crises within the facility.
• Support rehabilitation and transition of patients back into the community.
• Coordinate and participate in educational training related to mental health care.
• Ensure compliance with State and Federal mandates and regulations.
• Collaborate with correctional staff, psychologists, social workers, and other professionals to implement treatment plans.
