NaphCare is hiring a treating Psychiatrist to join the THRIVE Jail Based Competency to Stand Trial Treatment Program in San Diego, CA. The onsite, full-time position focuses on medication management for up to 30 adult male patients within a specialized unit.

Ideal candidates have CA licensure, DEA registration, CPR credential, and 1–3 years of psychiatric care experience, preferably in correctional or inpatient settings, with strong teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, unrestricted Psychiatrist license in California.
• Current DEA registration.
• A valid CPR card (or ability to attain one).
• Eligible or qualified to practice psychiatry under state laws/regulations.
• Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in psychiatric care.
• Experience in correctional healthcare or inpatient mental health settings preferred.
• Sufficient electronic medical record skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide medication management for up to 30 adult male patients in the THRIVE JBCT unit, including weekly sessions and chart reviews.
• Conduct consultations and coordinate with the treatment team; follow involuntary medication protocols as needed.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team and ensure treatment responsibilities are met.
