Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Ability to pass background and pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Keep facility safe, secure, and running smoothly through inmate head counts, welfare checks, cell inspections, and security rounds.
• Respond to emergencies with crisis-intervention techniques and de-escalate mental-health situations.
• Oversee intake, fingerprinting, and inmate transportation; ensure documentation accuracy and safety.
• Supervise recreation, meals, medication distribution, and inmate movement.
• Serve as liaison between agencies, courts, and jail; manage warrants and protection orders; support inmate access to programs.
