Responsibilities

• Maintain facility safety and security through inmate head counts, wellness checks, cell inspections, and security rounds.
• Respond to emergencies with de-escalation techniques and crisis intervention.
• Oversee intake, fingerprinting, and documentation; manage inmate movement and visits.
• Supervise meals, medication distribution, recreation, and orderly operations.
• Serve as a liaison between agencies, courts, and jail operations; conduct NCIC checks and manage warrants.
