Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and one year of relevant work experience.
• Possession of a valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment background process.
• Effective verbal and written communication; able to learn policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Keep the facility safe and secure through inmate head counts, wellness checks, cell inspections, and routine security rounds.
• Respond to emergencies, apply crisis-intervention techniques, and de-escalate mental health situations.
• Oversee intake and release, fingerprinting, and property management; ensure documentation is accurate and secure.
• Supervise recreation, meals, medication distribution, visits, and inmate movement to maintain orderly operations.
• Conduct NCIC checks, manage warrants, and support inmates in program access.
