• Ability to learn and apply jail policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Keep facility safe and secure through inmate head counts, wellness checks, and security rounds.
• Respond to emergencies and de-escalate mental-health situations.
• Oversee intake, documentation, and movement of inmates.
• Supervise recreation, meals, medication distribution, and visits.
• Maintain liaison with courts, agencies, and the jail.
