Responsibilities

• Stand watch in halls or towers to control inmate movement.
• Supervise groups of inmates on work details and supervise counts.
• Inspect conditions for safety, contraband, and report irregularities.
• Explain rules and services to inmates and assist with personal and educational opportunities.
• Observe inmate behavior and document evaluations.
