Responsibilities

• Keep facility safe and secure by conducting inmate head counts, wellness checks, cell inspections, and routine security rounds.
• Respond to emergencies, apply crisis-intervention techniques, and de-escalate mental-health situations.
• Oversee intake and release, fingerprinting, and property management with accurate documentation.
• Supervise meals, recreation, medications, visits, and inmate movement to maintain order and safety.
• Coordinate with agencies and courts, conduct NCIC checks, manage warrants and protection orders, and support programs.
