Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care at the Montgomery County Jail. The role involves direct patient care, documentation, and coordination with LVNs and other clinical staff in a correctional setting.

Licensed in Texas or eligible for licensure transfer, the candidate should have completed an accredited nursing program.

Formación

• Current RN license in the State of Texas or ability to transfer license to Texas.
• Graduated from an approved accredited nursing program.

Responsabilidades

• Provides direct nursing services to patients in the health facility following standards of care and documents activity in health records.
• Assists with exams and procedures within the RN scope of practice, with documentation in health records.
• Ensures patient medications are administered following policies and procedures and documented in medication systems.
• Receives and responds to patient care requests according to policy and standards.
• Performs nursing rounds and documents all complaints in the health record.
• Oversees the clinical practice of LVNs and other clinical personnel in the health facility.
