Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Conroe is seeking a Correctional LVN to provide direct nursing care within the Montgomery County Jail health facility, under RN supervision.

The role requires current Texas Vocational Nurse license or eligibility, CPR certification, and graduation from an approved nursing program with NCLEX-PN on first attempt for new grads. This full-time, hourly position features standard documentation and care coordination.

Formación

• Current Vocational Nurse License in Texas or eligible to transfer.
• Current CPR certification.
• Graduated from an approved nursing program; NCLEX-PN must be passed on first attempt for new grads.
• No experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct nursing services and document activities in health records.
• Maintain and ensure health equipment is in good working order and report issues.
• Assist in exams and procedures within the RN scope and document findings.
• Administer medications following policies and document clearly.
• Conduct nursing rounds and respond to patient care requests with timely documentation.
