Qualifications

• Holds a current, unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse in AL.
• Active BLS CPR Certification (AHA preferred).
• Knowledge of nursing practice, safety standards, infectious disease management, and healthcare regulations.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; able to work independently and in a team.
• Must pass facility background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial health screenings and physical assessments of newly detained individuals.
• Monitor and document patient health including vital signs and medical histories.
• Provide direct patient care, triage, assess needs, develop care plans, and coordinate services.
• Manage acute and chronic conditions such as asthma, hypertension, and diabetes.
