NaphCare, Inc. is hiring Behavioral Health LPNs to join our team in Bessemer, AL, serving individuals in the Alabama Department of Corrections. You will perform assessments, administer meds, manage chronic conditions, and respond to emergencies in a controlled setting.

Full-time and part-time positions may be available. The role emphasizes patient safety, confidentiality, and working with a diverse patient population in a correctional environment.

Competenze

• Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Actively state-certified as an LVN or LPN.
• Be able to obtain BLS CPR Certification (AHA preferred).
• Ability to interact effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds, including those with mental health or substance abuse issues.
• Must pass the facility’s criminal background check and drug screening.

Mansioni

• Perform patient assessments and interview patients about health problems and medication history.
• Take vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, and weight.
• Provide wound care and dressing of injuries.
• Administer medications and monitor reactions.
• Maintain medical records in the electronic health record TechCare.
• Observe patient health and mental health status.
• Provide emergency first aid.
• Provide patient education and discharge planning.
