NCCHC Foundation is hiring at the North Central Correctional Complex in Marion, Ohio. This full-time, day-shift medical role provides clinical care to detainee patients and staff in a secure environment with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

You will perform complete histories and exams, order and interpret tests, prescribe medications, manage treatment plans, and participate in after-hours rotations.

Qualifikationen

• MD or DO Board Certified or Board eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice or Internal Medicine.
• Valid license to practice medicine in the state of Ohio.
• Current DEA and current BLS certification.
• Must successfully complete required pre-service training.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of Ohio with an acceptable driving record.

Aufgaben

• Provide medical services for detainee patients and staff, including emergency care.
• Perform histories, physicals, order tests, interpret results and treat.
• Review medical records, update notes, and conduct rounds.
• Participate in after-hours/weekend on-call rotations.
• Refer patients for specialty care via the utilization manager.
