Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of medicine.
• Must be licensed to practice medicine in the state of employment.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Minimum age 18 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional medical services to inmates including exams, diagnoses, prescriptions and follow-up care.
• Provide direction in leadership for the medical program in collaboration with the Health Services Supervisor.
• Monitor and review operations and standards of care delivered to inmates/residents.
• Interview inmates/residents and make admissions decisions.
• Conduct clinical rounds and participate in treatment planning meetings.
