CoreCivic seeks a Physician to provide professional medical direction, oversight and direct patient care in a correctional facility. You will perform examinations, diagnose medical problems, prescribe medications and ensure follow-up care for inmates/residents.

Qualificações

• Graduate from an accredited school of medicine.
• Licensed to practice medicine in the state of employment.
• A valid driver's license is required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide professional medical services to inmates, including examinations, diagnosis, prescribing medications and follow-up care.
• Direct unit medical operations and lead the medical program with Health Services Supervisor.
• Perform minor surgery and occasional major surgery if necessary.
• Maintain absolute security and confidentiality of medical records.
• Audit medical files for documentation of all provided services.
• Meet accreditation standards (NCCHC/ACA/JCAHO) for the medical program.
