Job summary

A-Line Staffing is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide general nursing care to incarcerated individuals in a correctional healthcare setting at South Mountain, PA 17261. The position is full-time with several shift options and a pay rate of $35.00/hr (weekly pay, W-2).

The LPN will work under the direction of an RN or physician to deliver routine medical care, administer medications, and participate in care plans while ensuring safety and infection control.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or eligibility to take the licensure exam.
• Ability to document patient information in an electronic medical record system.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide general nursing care and clinical services within the LPN scope.
• Assess inmates' health and report changes to the RN or physician.
• Check vital signs and document health information.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Follow infection-control and safety procedures.
• Maintain supplies and sterilize equipment.
• Document medications, treatments, and patient information in EMR.
• Communicate effectively with inmates and healthcare staff.
