Formación

• Active authorization to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Pennsylvania.
• Employees with an active temporary practice permit must obtain licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse within one year.
• PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
• At appointment, you must show proof of current PA temporary practice permit or PA LPN license.
• Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
• You must pass a background investigation and CJIS requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct nursing care and support medical services within a correctional healthcare setting.
• Assist with treatment plans, patient monitoring, and medication administration.
• Record, retrieve, and maintain health information and documentation.
• Respond to medical emergencies with first aid, CPR, or AED assistance.
• Sterilize instruments, monitor inventory, and maintain supplies in the treatment area.
