Responsibilities

• Perform general nursing care and clinical duties as directed by supervision.
• Monitor and record vital signs, administer medications, and perform treatments.
• Assess inmate health needs through observation and report changes.
• Prepare and administer prescribed medications and document treatments.
• Carry out therapeutic treatments as ordered by medical providers.
• Adhere to infection control and safety procedures.
• Assist inmates with activities of daily living and basic care needs.
• Respond to medical emergencies and administer first aid and CPR as needed.
• Conduct medical procedures such as EKGs and vision screenings.
• Maintain and inventory medical supplies and equipment.
