Armor Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our correctional healthcare team in Ohio. The role emphasizes holistic nursing care, collaboration with providers, and strict documentation standards.

The ideal candidate holds an active LPN license, CPR certification, and proficiency with EMR systems. A Level 2 background check and drug screen are required upon employment.

Qualifications

• Current/Active state license as an LPN.
• Current CPR certificate.
• Proficient with electronic medical records systems.
• Ability to pass pre-employment Level 2 clearance including background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to patients in a correctional setting.
• Assist health care providers, RNs, and allied health professionals with examinations, treatments, tests, and procedures.
• Obtain patient health history, laboratory specimens, vital signs, and administers TB skin tests.
• Conduct lab tests and ensure results are delivered to the physician or RN.
• Coordinate patient transfers and document all patient contacts using POMR format.
