Job summary
Armor Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a correctional care setting in Georgia. The role requires an active LPN license, CPR certification, and proficiency with electronic medical records. A Level 2 background check and drug screen are required.

Qualifications
- Current/Active state license as an LPN.
- Current CPR certificate.
- Proficient with electronic medical records (EMR).
- Ability to pass pre-employment Level 2 clearance including background check and drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Provide holistic nursing care to patients in a correctional setting.
- Assist health care providers, registered nurses, and allied health professionals with examinations, treatments, and routine procedures.
- Obtain patient health history, collect laboratory specimens, take vital signs, and administer TB skin tests.
- Conduct lab tests and ensure results reach the appropriate physician or RN.
- Ensure patients receive proper care for injuries or conditions and update chart notes accordingly.
- Review patient charts and report observed symptoms, reactions, treatments, and changes in condition.
- Coordinate patient transfers to medical facilities and document all contacts using the POMR format.
