Armor Health is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Columbia, SC. You will provide holistic nursing care to patients in a correctional setting, support physicians and allied health staff, and perform routine nursing tasks with attention to safety and accuracy.

The role requires active LPN licensure, CPR certification, EMR familiarity, and the ability to pass a Level 2 background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Able to pass pre-employment Level 2 background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to patients in a correctional setting.
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures.
• Obtain health histories, vitals, and specimens; administer TB skin tests.
• Review charts and report symptoms or treatment changes to physicians.
• Coordinate patient transfers and document contacts in the medical record.
