The GEO Group, Inc. in Arizona seeks a Security Supervisor to oversee custody and security operations in a detention setting. You will supervise staff, enforce policies, and ensure safety and compliance while maintaining accurate records.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 3 years in a correctional environment with supervisory duties, and a valid AZ driver's license. Prior experience at an Arizona Department of Corrections post is preferred; the department offers competitive

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certification required.
• College coursework and advanced training in behavioral sciences, correctional services or related field preferred.
• Three (3) years of experience in a correctional setting, with supervisory responsibilities.
• Must have worked an Arizona Department of Corrections security post within the last 2 years.
• Must have a valid AZ Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Supervises security staff and inmate supervision within an assigned area.
• Develops and implements custody, security, and treatment procedures.
• Responds to incidents and provides prompt staff assistance.
• Directs work, training, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Maintains records and reports and ensures policy compliance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
