Job summary

Aramark Correctional Services in Georgia is seeking a Food Service Worker to supervise inmates in a kitchen, train workers, and coordinate tasks to meet production plans while ensuring sanitation and personal safety. You will oversee meal preparation, enforce Aramark guidelines, manage inventory, and support safe, efficient service.

Applicants should have at least one year in food prep, supervisory aptitude, and the ability to obtain a food safety certification.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Minimum 1 year of food prep or related work preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience interacting with inmates a plus.
• Ability to motivate and supervise inmates and/or team members in a correctional setting.
• Must obtain a food safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to and maintain production guidelines per Aramark standards.
• Supervise inmates in food preparation and tray assembly.
• Ensure timely, efficient meal service and compliance with Aramark guidelines.
• Direct inmates in use of recipes and training on cooking procedures.
• Ensure proper portions and special dietary requirements are met.
• Obtain accurate daily population counts and review with staff.
