Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of food prep experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain a food safety certification.
• Must be comfortable working in a correctional facility.
• Must be over 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to production guidelines and logs.
• Supervise inmates in food preparation and tray assembly.
• Ensure timely meal service and HACCP compliance.
• Direct inmates in recipe use and cooking procedures.
• Ensure proper portions and dietary requirements.
• Obtain daily population counts and coordinate with staff.
• Maintain security and store tools and equipment securely.
• Assist inventory, receiving, and storage of food items.
• Prepare and store meals per 5 P's.
• Follow sanitation and safety standards.
