Job summary

Aramark Correctional Services is seeking a Corrections Oversight Worker to supervise inmates, train staff, and coordinate food production according to production plans, while upholding sanitation, safety, and HACCP standards.

You will review logs, lead meal preparation, ensure proper portions and diet compliance, and enforce security policies in a correctional environment. The role is on-site with opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year of food prep or related work preferred.
• Must be able to obtain a food safety certification.
• Ability to motivate and supervise inmates and/or team members in a correctional environment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to production guidelines and approve logs.
• Supervise inmates in food preparation and tray assembly.
• Ensure timely, efficient meal service and compliance with Aramark guidelines.
• Direct inmates in use of Aramark recipes and train on cooking procedures.
• Ensure proper portions and accommodate dietary requirements.
• Maintain security by following policies and locking storage areas.
