Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Corrections Oversight Worker to supervise inmates in meals production and ensure quality and safety according to production plans. You will train staff, coordinate work schedules, and enforce sanitation and security standards in a correctional environment.

The role involves monitoring logs, guiding recipe use, and ensuring proper portions while adhering to HACCP guidelines and Aramark policies. Prior supervisory experience and a food safety certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Minimum of one year food prep or related work preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain a food safety certification.
• Ability to follow safety policies and maintain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to production guidelines and review temperature logs.
• Supervise inmates in food preparation and tray assembly.
• Ensure timely, efficient meal service and compliance with Aramark guidelines.
• Direct inmates in the use of recipes and train on cooking procedures.
• Ensure proper portions and accommodation of dietary requirements.
• Maintain sanitation schedules and assist in inventory and storage.
