Job summary

Summit is seeking an experienced cook to join our kitchen team at the Kearny, NE location within the correctional facility division. You will work in a fast-paced environment, preparing high-quality meals, focusing on scratch cooking, portion control, and presentation under strict safety standards.

The role requires at least one year of culinary experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a demanding setting.

Qualifications

• At least one year of culinary experience in a high-volume establishment with scratch cooking.
• Working knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques, and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to use various kitchen equipment and identify and differentiate food items.
• Customer service experience is required.
