Responsibilities include leading meal preparation, menu execution, inventory control, and maintaining sanitary standards while coordinating with the District Manager. A strong leader with ServSafe certification and a background in institutional food service is

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and at least 18 years old.
• Five years of management or supervisory experience in a food service environment.
• ServSafe Certification.
• Experience applying kitchen sanitation and safety standards.
• Knowledge of basic accounting and ability to complete reports.
• Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee food quantities prepared and served per plan.
• Hire, orient, train, and issue corrective action to team members.
• Review payroll bi-weekly.
• Ensure staff are trained in safety and job responsibilities.
• Maintain inventory and prepare menu schedules.
• Ensure proper food storage and service quality.
• Maintain sanitary environment per codes and regulations.
• Prepare onsite reports of daily and monthly financials and activity.
• Coordinate state inspections and other inspections.
• Other duties as needed.
