Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking a Food Service Director to oversee a turnkey, on-site food service operation inside a correctional facility in California. You will manage the kitchen staff, ensure regulatory compliance, control inventory and payroll, and partner with leadership to deliver safe, high-quality meals for inmates.

Ideal candidates have five years of management experience in food service, ServSafe certification, and a proven ability to lead teams in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Five years of management or supervisory experience in a food service environment.
• ServSafe Certification required.
• Experience managing kitchen sanitation and safety standards.
• Knowledge of basic accounting and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the appropriate quantities of food prepared and served according to facility or site plan.
• Hire, orient, train and issue corrective action to team members.
• Review payroll on a bi-weekly basis.
• Ensure staff are trained to perform responsibilities safely.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and planned menu schedule.
• Ensure proper food storage and product quality.
• Maintain sanitary environment following health codes and regulations.
• Maintain onsite reports of daily and monthly financial, production, and activity metrics.
• Coordinate inspections by state or other authorities.
• Other duties as determined by our needs.
