Job summary

Ashland University is seeking a Site Coordinator to support Correctional Education programs at the South Central Correctional Center in Missouri. You will oversee daily operations, liaise with the DOC, and ensure students have access to courses and materials.

The role requires coordinating with Financial Aid, Academic Services, and Student Success to assist with applications, testing, and compliance, including FERPA. The position requires travel to facilities and 80% on-site presence.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required.
• Basic computer skills with ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to use LMS and MS Office.
• Pass pre-employment DOC and AU background check.
• Be physically present at the facility for 80% of the work week.
• Authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations at correctional facilities and collaborate with DOC.
• Liaise between facility staff, students, and Ashland University.
• Identify, screen and recruit students per AU/DOC criteria.
• Assist students with AU applications and course access.
• Support students with access issues and communications.
• Collaborate with Financial Aid on FAFSA and aid counseling.
• Proctor, record, and upload tests and assignments as instructed.
• Provide students with AU orientation and corrective education processes.
• Organize and manage site inventory of devices and materials.
• Maintain FERPA-compliant privacy and records.
