Prince George's County Government Department of Corrections seeks entry-level LTGF Counselor 1G to provide counseling interventions for offenders in a correctional setting. You will conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and support clients with SUDs and mental health needs.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• One year of full-time, post-licensure clinical experience providing mental health counseling services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive screenings and assessments to determine services.
• Provide individual and group counseling for offenders.
• Develop and update treatment plans every 30 days.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant electronic health records and case files.
• Submit weekly and monthly statistics as required.
• Participate in supervision and staff meetings.
