North Carolina Department of Adult Correction seeks a Correctional Case Manager (S) at Central Prison in Raleigh. You will manage a caseload, perform classifications, conduct needs assessments, and coordinate program referrals and housing recommendations.

You will work under supervision in the Programs Department, communicating with staff and offenders, handling crisis interventions, and preparing written reports based on interviews and documents. This is a full-time position with 40 hours/week.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education and Experience per vacancy announcement.
• KSAs and preferences are not required but may be preferred.
• Documented knowledge of case management practices, or supportive counseling techniques and/or interviewing techniques for intake assessments.

Responsabilités

• Perform classification reviews, needs assessments, plans, job assignments, and regular one-on-one counseling.
• Provide transitional information, housing recommendations, and assist with offender reviews.
• Communicate effectively with staff, offenders, and the public.
• Prepare written reports reflecting data from interviews, documents, and observations.
