Job summary

Adult Correction in North Carolina is seeking a Correctional Case Manager (S) at Western Correctional Center for Women to carry a caseload of offenders, provide supportive counseling, conduct assessments, and develop case plans. You will work under supervision in a minimum custody female facility, coordinating programs that support rehabilitation and transition planning.

Qualifications include an associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, ability to pass background

Qualifications

• Documented knowledge of case management practices and/or supportive counseling techniques.
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Criminal Justice/Related field required or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive counseling and conduct offender assessments.
• Develop and monitor case plans with the classification committee.
• Coordinate offender programs (work assignments, education, recreation, etc.).
• Prepare written reports reflecting data from interviews and observations.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation and communication with staff and offenders.
