The GEO Group is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care in a correctional setting. You will perform exams, administer medications, and coordinate with physicians to ensure security and quality patient care.

Qualifications

• RN license in state; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Two years RN experience preferred; crisis, medical, psychiatric care skills.
• Ability to work independently and with computers/software.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete physical assessments and medical histories.
• Assist physician with sick calls and minor procedures.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor effects.
• Maintain medication security and documentation of administration.
• Supervise LPNs and contribute to performance evaluations.
