Job summary

State of Maine is hiring a Correctical Care & Treatment Worker at the Maine Correctional Center in Windham. The role supports residents through case management, rehab programs, and coordination with security and behavioral health staff to aid community reintegration.

You will develop plans, track progress, and provide coaching while delivering non-clinical programming such as domestic violence and pro-social communication training.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of case management principles and correctional care programs.
• Ability to work with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Gather and review background information and conduct interviews to orient residents and conduct assessments.
• Develop and update case management plans with referrals to programs, jobs, education and vocational training.
• Track progress of case-management plans and keep the team informed.
• Maintain thorough documentation (case plans, progress notes, records).
• Meet with residents to provide support, coaching, and assist with obstacles and reentry plans.
• Collaborate with team to modify plans to ensure safety and success.
• Facilitate non-clinical programs and interventions with individuals and groups.

Education

3-year combination of education/training/experience in case management
