Job summary

TTUHSC Managed Care in Wichita Falls, TX, is seeking a dedicated clerical professional to support Telehealth and specialty clinics within a correctional services context.

You will coordinate clinic operations, manage EMR scheduling and reminders, take vitals in telehealth sessions, and help ensure smooth patient throughput while contributing to team goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years progressively responsible clerical experience.
• Additional education and/or related experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis.

Performs responsible and complex duties associated with a specialized function of a section of clerical employees in a correctional institution.

Major/Essential Functions

• Assist with Telehealth presenting.
• Ensure continuity of care for specialty telehealth clinics.
• Coordinate clinic operations
• Patient throughput management.
• Process provider notes for accurate and complete information
• Manage reminders in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
• Take vital signs
• Respond to all requests in a timely manner as required and necessary for effective communication
• Support the goal of the unit by attending meetings.
• Effectively participate in the overall goals of the Managed Care team.
• Other duties as assigned.

Since 1989, TTUHSC Managed Care has been providing clinical and operational support to correctional facilities throughout West Texas and other regional areas. We serve approximately 30,000 patients utilizing a broad range of comprehensive medical and health services. Required Qualifications

Education: A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Three years progressively responsible clerical experience. Additional education and/or related experience to equal three years may substitute on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

One (1) year of experience using medical and behavioral health terminology in a clinical setting, including EMR-based scheduling, note processing, reminder management, clinic operations support, and Telehealth coordination.
