Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Technician at the Graham Correctional Facility near Hillsboro, IL, to support inmates with mental health services. You will participate in weekly treatment planning meetings and implement therapy, groups, crisis management, and telepsychiatry support.

A Bachelor's degree in a social science is required, with 2+ years of experience in activities programming for patients with serious mental illness.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a Social Science is required.
Two years or more experience providing activities programming for patients with a serious mental illness preferred.
Competencies with Excel sufficient to create, maintain, and update scheduling databases.
Must maintain current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR/AED certification.

Responsibilities

Participates in weekly multidisciplinary treatment planning meetings and implements interventions for patients.
Provides therapeutic support services, including treatment-focused programming, psychosocial groups, crisis management, social rehabilitation, and leisure activities.
Assists in preparation and maintenance of records and data management pertaining to mental health treatment and scheduling of patients, including telepsychiatry support.
