Centurion Health is hiring a Behavioral Health Technician for Graham Correctional Center in Hillsboro, IL. The role involves providing therapeutic support services and leading treatment-focused activities in a correctional mental health setting.

The position supports multidisciplinary treatment planning, records maintenance, and telepsychiatry operations. A Bachelor's degree in social science is required, with two+ years of relevant experience preferred and CPR/AED certification current.

• Two years or more experience providing activities programming for patients with a serious mental illness preferred.
• Competencies with Excel sufficient to create, maintain, and update scheduling databases.
• Must maintain current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR/AED certification.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Provide therapeutic support services, including treatment-focused programming.
• Lead psychosocial groups, crisis management, social rehabilitation, and leisure activities.
• Provide formal education to patients in routine activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist in preparation and maintenance of records and data management for mental health treatment and scheduling.
• Support operation of telepsychiatry services as directed.

We are currently seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Technician to join our team at the Graham Correctional Facility located in Hillsboro, IL.

TheBehavioral Health Technician participates in weekly multidisciplinary treatment planning meetings and implements interventions for patients in a correctional mental health/healthcare setting. Behavioral Health Technician responsibilities include providing therapeutic support services, including treatment focused programming, psychosocial groups, crisis management, social rehabilitation, and leisure activities, as well as providing formal education to patients in routine activities of daily living (hygiene, eating, recreation, etc.). Behavioral Health Technicians, also assist in the preparation and maintenance of records and data management pertaining to the mental health treatment and scheduling of patients. This includes providing support for the operation of telepsychiatry services. Performs all duties as assigned by leadership and as directed by Centurion policy and procedure, as well as IDOC Directives, and Standard Operating Procedures.
