Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a Wellness Coordinator to implement health promotion and disease prevention programs for a diverse population. You will perform health assessments, screenings, and fitness testing and coordinate services for Employee and Corporate Wellness.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, at least one year of wellness experience (internships accepted), and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health-related field required.
• At least 1 year wellness experience; internship rotation acceptable.
• BLS certification required (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Conduct health assessments and screenings for participants.
• Lead health discussions in group, classroom, and one-on-one settings.
• Coordinate external corporate wellness programs and services.
• Document outcomes and report program data to management.
