Job summary

TriHealth seeks a Fitness Center Coordinator to staff a corporate/community fitness center, conduct assessments, provide exercise prescriptions, and support wellness initiatives. The role includes health coaching, data reporting, and program implementation to help members achieve goals.

You will assist with scheduling, support Health Fairs, and maintain equipment while upholding TriHealth standards for safety and service. A BLS certification and relevant degree are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health/fitness or related field.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Supervises members during workouts and ensures safety by correcting form and appropriate loading.
• Assists with program and goal attainment; enforces floor policies and guides members through multi-set sessions.
• Administers physical tests after consultations and physician recommendations and designs exercise plans.
• Walks members through exercise programs and answers progression questions; may work on special projects with the Fitness Coordinator.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Health/Fitness or related field

Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS)

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Computer application skills
