Job summary

EXOS is seeking a Performance Coach for our corporate wellness center in Houston. You will lead diverse group classes, assess clients, and design personalized exercise plans to help participants reach their health goals.

You will monitor safety during workouts, provide one-on-one coaching, and contribute to incentive and health-promotion programs while handling day-to-day facility operations and related administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field.
• Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification required.
• At least 6 months of industry experience, including internships.
• Experience leading and teaching group exercise classes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor exercise participants to ensure safety and adherence to workout plans.
• Lead and instruct diverse group exercise classes for various fitness levels.
• Conduct fitness assessments, prescribe personalized exercise plans, and design effective programs.
• Offer one-on-one consultations and motivation to help clients succeed.
• Assist with implementing incentive programs and health-promotion initiatives.
• Manage administrative tasks related to fitness facility operations.
