Job summary

EXOS is seeking a Performance Coach to join its corporate wellness team in New York. You will lead diverse group exercise classes, monitor safety, and tailor programs to individual clients, including high-risk populations.

You will conduct fitness assessments, provide one-on-one coaching, and contribute to health-promotion initiatives. The role supports operations and requires a relevant degree, CPR/First Aid, and active certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field.
• Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification required.
• Experience leading and teaching group exercise classes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor participants to ensure safety and adherence to workout plans.
• Lead and instruct diverse group exercise classes for various fitness levels.
• Conduct fitness assessments and design personalized exercise programs.
• Provide one-on-one consultations and motivation to help clients succeed.
• Assist with incentive programs and health promotion initiatives.
• Support day-to-day fitness facility operations.
