Job summary

Houston Community College seeks a Corporate Trainer, Level 3 to deliver soft skills training to corporate clients on an on-call basis. The role focuses on leadership, management, supervisory, and customer service skills with content customized to each client’s objectives.

The ideal candidate has 9 years of corporate training experience and a Bachelor’s degree, with additional certifications. Training may occur in 1-to-3 day classroom formats; ongoing content updates are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a specialized area. Level 3: 3+ certifications and/or licenses related to specific disciplines required.
• Ability to speak, read and write English effectively.
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills; proficient in oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and/or consulting to corporate clients as needed.
• Assess training needs with Corporate College staff.
• Customize training content to fit client objectives.
• Deliver soft skills training in leadership, supervisory, and customer service areas.
• Conduct 1–3 day classroom trainings using relevant materials.
• Update course content to maintain currency and relevance.
• Maintain records of schedules, rosters, and attendance.
