Toastique is seeking a Corporate Trainer to develop and oversee franchisee training in the DC area, with nationwide travel. The role starts in corporate stores as a Team Member for 60 days to gain in-store knowledge before transitioning to training and travel.
Travel will range 10-30% depending on openings, with responsibilities including leading new openings, coaching staff, and maintaining brand standards across locations.

The Corporate Trainer will develop and oversee training for franchisees at corporate locations in the DC area. The Corporate Trainer is also responsible for traveling and providing in-store training for new and existing franchise locations throughout the United States. The Corporate Trainer will start working in the corporate stores (for a minimum of 60 days) as a Team Member to ensure they become well versed in all responsibilities in store operations prior to training & traveling as a Corporate Trainer.
10%-30% travel is required and will depend on franchisee scheduled openings.
Responsibilities:
Execute the 4-week Franchisee Training Program on site in Washington, DC for Toastique franchisees
Support and guide franchisees on site for new Toastique location grand openings nation wide by assisting in coaching their frontline team members, preparing the restaurant space, and leading by example with exceptional customer service to ensure a successful grand opening weekend
Provide tools and support to Managers and Franchisees fortrainingteam members
Exercise leadership: encourage, persuade, and convince others to maintain high standards. Use an appropriate leadership style for different situations.
Establish credibility through competence, continuity, integrity, and kindness
Become a Toastique brand ambassador incompanypolicies, procedures, standards, and goals. Maintain a current working knowledge of industry standards and regulations by working in the restaurants.

Measure and provide counsel on improving operational and individual performance

Support managers and Franchisees in developing managers and the succession of team members
Respond to requests, inquiries, emails, and others in a timely, accurate fashion
Flexible working hours required, including weekends
Able to travel out of state for Franchise support - Travel will be in/out of state anywhere from 3-14 days at a time depending on the reason for the location visit (ie: grand opening, additional support or evaluation, follow up)
Conduct onsite reviews and audits (Prime visits) of Franchise stores measuring performance againstcorporateoperational initiatives and ensure franchisees understand and uphold brand standards (Food Safety, Quality, Service, Cleanliness), operational metrics, expectations, and brand standards (fast, accurate, friendly, etc.).
Follow-up on all new store openings within your designed territory, ensuring the hand-off from development, to storetrainer, and to operations occurred with excellence and the store has been set up for success. Conduct New Storetrainingin special circumstances whenTraineris not available.
Effectively plan and schedule travel calendar to gain efficiencies and utilize all systems and tools needed to execute highly effective visits.
Requirements:
2-5 years of leadership/training experience (at least 2 in a restaurant environment)
Open availability including weekends and some holidays
Open to travel 3-14 days at a time
Reliable transportation
Knowledge in Toast POS system preferred
Spanish speaking preferred
Barista knowledge preferred
