About the Role
We seek a diligent, dedicated, high energy and meticulous Corporate Trainer who will help to further our success and reputation in the industry through world-class customer service. The Corporate Trainer will lead new hire orientation, onboarding, technical training, and ongoing employee development programs to ensure employees have the knowledge and skills to succeed.
Specifically:
- Create and conduct weekly new hire orientation focused on setting new employees up for success from day one.
- Develop and deliver engaging onboarding and hands-on technical training programs for new hires, ensuring employees have the knowledge and skills required to perform their roles effectively.
- Apply instructional design principles to create engaging, hands-on training programs that effectively build employee knowledge, skills, and job proficiency.
- Create, update, and maintain production training materials, including step-by-step guides, visual aids, and resources for new and evolving processes.
- Develop and deliver ongoing training and professional development programs to strengthen employee skills and address identified development needs.
- Develop and deliver targeted training programs for managers, including leadership, coaching, and employee development.
- Collaborate with management to identify training goals, requirements, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assess employee performance and training needs to identify skills gaps and develop targeted training solutions.
- Establish monitoring processes to ensure employees are performing their job responsibilities in accordance with established training and procedures.
- Provide ongoing support to employees and managers while evaluating training effectiveness and identifying areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Organization Development, or related field
- 5+ years experience developing and delivering employee training programs, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
- Experience with instructional design and adult learning principles
- CPLP or other relevant learning and development certification preferred
- Extensive knowledge of the latest corporate training techniques
- Phenomenal presentation and public speaking skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
