Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Corporate Strategy Manager based in the United States.

This is an individual contributor role within a Strategy & Business Operations team, reporting directly to the Chief Strategy Officer. You will be the first dedicated corporate strategy team member, taking meaningful ownership of rigorous strategic and analytical work. The role combines financial, operational, market, and business analysis with executive-level storytelling and strategic problem-solving. You will work closely with senior leaders, including the CEO, CFO, and FP&A and Business Operations leaders, on high-priority business questions. Your insights will support strategic decisions, planning growth opportunities, partnerships, and broader business initiatives. This is an opportunity to grow into a highly trusted strategic partner while helping move important decisions from analysis through action.

Accountabilities
  • Act as a trusted analytical partner to senior leadership by independently tackling sophisticated business questions, working through imperfect or complex data, identifying meaningful insights, and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Take increasing ownership of high-priority strategy workstreams, moving from ambiguous business questions through research, analysis, insight development, recommendations, and decision-ready outputs while partnering with the Chief Strategy Officer and other leaders as needed.
  • Conduct rigorous business, financial, operational, and performance analysis using Excel, Sigma, and the organization’s data environment, including profitability and gross margin analysis, unit economics, KPIs, utilization and duration, staffing and capacity, market sizing, and growth scenarios.
  • Build, test, and refine sophisticated financial and strategic models, working effectively with messy or incomplete datasets and going beyond reporting results to explain their business implications and potential actions.
  • Develop compelling executive, Board, investor, and strategic planning materials, including PowerPoint presentations, written briefs, memos, and visual analyses that clearly communicate findings, tradeoffs, implications, and decisions required.
  • Research and synthesize market perspectives on topics such as market sizing, channel opportunities, partnership synergies, competitive positioning, and potential growth opportunities, using both traditional research methods and AI-enabled research tools.
  • Partner directly with senior executives and operating leaders to gather information, clarify strategic questions, pressure-test assumptions, present analysis, and translate complex discussions into clear recommendations and tangible outputs.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the organization’s systems, data, markets, and operating model, enabling increasing self-sufficiency and credibility across high-priority strategic initiatives.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated exceptional analytical and structured problem-solving abilities, including advanced Excel skills, sophisticated financial or business modeling experience, and the ability to work effectively with messy or imperfect data.
  • Strong business judgment and the ability to move beyond analysis into insight, identify what matters most, develop a well-reasoned point of view, and connect findings directly to business decisions.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with senior executives by framing ambiguous questions, asking thoughtful questions, challenging assumptions constructively, and helping establish a clear path forward.
  • Excellent PowerPoint, communication, and storytelling skills, with the ability to transform complex quantitative and qualitative information into concise, logical, visually compelling executive materials.
  • Intellectual curiosity, resourcefulness, reliability, and a strong learning orientation, with the ability to quickly understand new subjects, manage varied challenges, follow through consistently, and collaborate effectively.
  • Experience in management consulting or a comparable environment involving sophisticated strategic, analytical, and problem-solving work is strongly preferred.
  • Experience using AI tools for research, synthesis, analysis, or strategic problem-solving is a plus.
  • Interest in building a long-term career in corporate strategy, including growth strategy, strategic planning, partnerships, adjacent markets, and potentially future corporate development or investment-related work.
  • Experience with Sigma, Snowflake, or other advanced analytics and data tools is advantageous.
  • Candidates must live in and physically perform all work within the United States.
Benefits
  • Target base salary of $100,000-$140,000 USD, with final compensation determined based on factors such as experience, location, market conditions, and other business considerations.
  • Annual cash incentive program as part of the overall compensation package.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance benefits.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
  • Flexible paid time off.
  • Access to the organization’s healthcare advocacy and support services for employees and eligible dependents.
  • Fully remote work arrangement for eligible employees located within the United States.
  • Opportunity to work directly with senior executives on consequential strategic questions and high-impact business initiatives.
  • Exposure to corporate strategy, growth, strategic planning, partnerships, market analysis, and broader business operations.
