We are excited to announce that we are currently accepting resumes for a Corporate Safety Officer.

Responsibilities:

• Provide safety and health support to Waterline Industries by assisting in the development of corporate safety and health programs and objectives.
• Coordinate ongoing safety training programs.
• Monitor safety and health regulations and provide support to Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure compliance with Federal and State safety regulations.
• Learn the Waterline Way and be able to facilitate and be an advocate for it.
• Identify company safety needs and develop policies and training programs.
• Participate in product/process safety reviews.
• Support field personnel in selection of appropriate protective equipment.
• Travel to job sites for safety inspections and identify any potential measures to be taken.
• Maintain corporate safety training library.
• Serve as a member of the Corporate Safety Committee.
• Monitor lost-time injuries/illnesses and Worker's Compensation Claims.
• Review safety committee minutes and safety inspection reports.
• Lead safety meetings and roll-out new safety programs.
• Develop site specific safety plans for new projects.
• Work with 3rd party safety consultant as needed.

Qualifications Include:

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4-year degree in Safety or Occupational Health.

Licensing:

• Valid Driver's License.
• OSHA 10.
• OSHA 30.

Experience:

• Two or more years of experience in the field of Safety.
