This is an exciting time for NHSGGC as we implement our new ambitious ‘Transforming Together’ strategy to support Health & Social Care Reform. The Corporate Planning Team has a rare opportunity for a motivated individual with strategic or operational planning experience to work closely with the deputy director of planning to lead a corporate planning portfolio of work.
We welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds with a proven track record in planning/strategy work, whether from the public sector or consultancy background. Healthcare/NHS experience is a plus but not essential. You might already be in an operational/managerial role or looking to step into your next planning position.
You will contribute to the strategic direction of NHSGGC by providing leadership in corporate planning and strategy delivery, providing specialist expertise and leadership in developing, implementing, and reviewing effective corporate planning across the Board. You will be experienced in developing planning frameworks ensuring principles of good governance are embedded. The role will lead and support:
You will also be responsible for leading and developing the Planning Officer team and providing planning oversight and support to the Realistic Medicine Project Manager.
This role requires someone to work independently across the organization and with leaders and teams to support and manage the ongoing development and delivery of the Board Strategies and associated work programmes.
