STS Technical Services is hiring a Production Planning Manager in Brookfield, Wisconsin. Position Summary

As the Production Planning Manager, you will oversee a multi-location scheduling team, drive ERP optimization, and support cross-department collaboration to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction. This leadership role is essential to long-term planning, operational performance, and the company’s strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the multi-location scheduling team across all facilities
  • Oversee the scheduling process using Epicor ERP to align production with delivery timelines
  • Serve as the primary contact for scheduling with internal departments and external customers
  • Lead quarterly forecasting and planning sessions with sales, production, logistics, and purchasing teams
  • Ensure proper allocation of resources including labor, materials, and machinery
  • Integrate sales orders into a company-wide master schedule and manage updates as needed
  • Communicate schedule changes and potential delays to stakeholders
  • Coordinate with purchasing and subcontractors to ensure material availability and on-time delivery
  • Monitor inventory, anticipate material needs, and initiate procurement
  • Champion continuous improvement within the planning function
  • Promote and maximize use of Epicor ERP system capabilities
  • Support strategic initiatives and prepare for potential leadership advancement
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, production planning, or operations management in a manufacturing environment
  • Background in high-precision job shop environments strongly preferred
  • Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of team development
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
  • Deep familiarity with production planning systems; Epicor ERP highly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems and drive continuous improvement
  • Ambition to grow into senior leadership roles
